Actor Eric Dane has filled suit versus Nick Denton’s Gawker Media over Gawker’s publishing of the now infamous
“McSteamy” Eric Dane sex tape.

According to TMZ, “Dane and and partner Rebecca Gayheart filed the lawsuit today in L.A. County Superior Court, laying claim Gawker.com hadn’t only wrongfully posted about 4 minutes of the privy video recording that was filmed behind shut doors, but “maliciously” circulated the video recording and included unclothed shots of the fabulous threesome — the third wheel was former beauty queen Kari Ann Peniche.”

The duo are demanding for “more than $1 million in damages” and for the video to be withdrew from Gawker.

Nick Denton’s only answer has been on Twitter, stating that “To quote the great Marty Singer — Eric Dane’s lawyer — if you don’t want a sex tape on the internet, ‘don’t produce one!’”
